At Beautylish, I worked on designing and building a Purchase Order tool that helps manage and create purchase orders for $275K/month worth of inventory globally. This tool enabled merchandising and inventory teams to communicate and work more effectively to bring on more vendors and products to the service. Also worked on building out the Instant Refund feature, which automates the store credit issued to customers once a return is created. Order returns, are not a pleasant shopping experience on any ecommerce store, by automating the store credit issued once a package has been dropped off, it delivers a slightly better shopping experience.Customers with Instant Refund issued, returned 45% for repeat purchases v/s 28% from regular returns.
Cyr3con is an AI based security consultancy, here, I helped facilitate the migration of our datastores from postgres to mongodb. At the time, having our datastores in a structured format meant, we were bleeding / incoherently saving useful attributes from newer websites on the dark-net.I also organized a small team to overlook the build and test pipelines for the dark-net web scraper service. This proved beneficial, as a failure in the service at any time in the day would lead to about 60K lost and out of sync records on hackers, vulnerabilities and exploits.Designed an API playground for potential clients and teams to try out our API service for CVE vulnerabilities.
Orchestrated the automated health checks for messaging servers across different regions. Built internal tooling around this to help engineers monitor and react to issues promptly. This system lead to saving an engineer about 3 - 3.5 hours / day, enabling them to focus on critical issues.
